10 luxury apartments London residents rate the highest

London is known all over the world for offering the finer things in life. And when it comes to luxury apartments, London does not disappoint. We look at ten developments that are considered to be the best in the city by their residents.

Post-pandemic – how are London luxury apartments doing in 2021?

Even in early 2021, we’re living in strange times for London’s property market. This goes double for luxury apartments. London saw a big shift in people moving from the centre of the capital to the outer edges last year.

In early 2021, even though London is enjoying a post-pandemic property price boom, the luxury end of the market simply isn’t. In January, the number of luxury apartments available to rent in London was up by 75% compared to 2020. For the same period, luxury accommodation rental rates fell by around 14% across the capital.

When it comes to sales of London luxury apartments, things aren’t great either. Between November 2020 and January 2021, apartments priced between £1-2 million fell by 8%.

Still, the owners’ loss is the buyers/renters’ gain. With more luxury apartments on the market, alongside dropping prices and rental rates, now’s a good time to shop around. If you are willing to negotiate firmly but fairly, you’ll find owners and landlords willing to listen.
