Why live in Wales?

For a lot of people, Wales is an attractive place to live because of the quality of lifestyle it offers. There is a less frenetic pace of life here, without it ever becoming boring. Along with some of the most dramatic landscapes in the UK, Wales has plenty of bustling towns and cities too. This means that it’s easy to find the perfect backdrop for your preferred way of life in Wales.

In terms of outdoor space and access to nature, Wales is second to none. From the stark peaks of Snowdonia to the impossibly lush Brecon Beacons National Park and island of Anglesey, there is always a beautiful landscape not far away.

Another major benefit of the Welsh lifestyle is its strong sense of community. Wales is extremely welcoming to new arrivals, whether you’re living in a big city or rural village, there is a deep-set culture of inclusion and friendliness here.

What are average property prices like in Wales?

At the time of writing, Wales is experiencing the biggest increase in house prices in all the UK. In one month, July 2021, the countrywide property price average rose by 2.3%. By August 2021, prices had risen by nearly 11% year on year, hitting a peak of £215,810.
